Cappello School, Mercer Elementary School, Regional Day School and the Mercer High School.  You are invited to nominate a paraprofessional who is particularly supportive and helpful to your child’s education and works well with the classroom teacher and team.  Fill out the attached form and return it to school by Friday, May 20th, 2011.  Thank you for your time and help in recognizing our exceptional staff.   Read More...

Dear Cappello Families,

The warmer weather is just around the corner.  We want to take this time to remind parents, for the safety of the children, please have them wear sneakers or closed toe shoes to school.  We ask that children do not wear sandals or flip flops.  This will keep them safer in the building and on the playgrounds. May 7-11 is staff appreciation week. Apples for staff are being sold by the PTA for $1 each.  The PTA executive board will meet on May 21st at 10:00.  The last parent support meeting for the year is scheduled for May 23rd at 10:15.  The NJ Symphony Orchestra will perform two assemblies on May 24th at 1:15 and 1:45.  Parents are invited more information will follow as to what time to join us.  May 24th will also be Red, White and Blue Day.  Students should come to school dressed in these colors.  The district will be closed on May 28th for Memorial Day.

This year’s Family Event is scheduled for June 6th from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Please save the date.  Christine Sevilla, Principal   Read More....
